How is Teddy?

I know I've been a bit slack updating this site but all you really need to know is that I'm still having a great time. January was a crazy month. We had the snowiest January on record, 469cm, but that also meant we had only 18 hours of sunshine. This month on the other hand, we've had practically no snow but that doesn't matter when you consider that every day has looked like this.

I had lunch with David and some of his friends on Friday at the Crystal Hut, which is at the top of the Crystal chair on Blackcomb. The view from the Crystal Hut is spectacular and the food was equally as impressive. The Whiskey Jacks are a little cheeky though.

Georgia arrives tonight. I can't wait to head up the mountain with my little sister. I look forward to seeing her in action in the terrain park on Blackcomb (for those of you who don't know, Georgia did a season at Copper Mountain in Colorado last year and has the prize for the first Bayles to be taken down any mountain by ski patrol on a sled, care of a miss timed booter in the park.)

I'll leave you with a few more pictures. Hope everyone is well.

I finally have 10 minutes to sit down at a computer and put these photos up. Aussie day was a great day here. I started off the day at Kat/Kerri/Anna/Holly's place for a champagne/pancake breakfast. Great start to the day. The girls headed off to queue for the Longhorn Saloon with 3/4 of the Aussie's in Whistler at 8am and Phil and I headed off for a day of boarding. We had a fantastic day, me with my Aussie flag T-Shirt and full length Aussie flag cape. I was Captain Australia for the day.

We headed off the mountain at about 2:30pm back to Phil's to have a shower and get ready for the horn. I got to the Longhorn at about 3pm and queued for about an hour and a half before they finaly let a few of us in. It was worth the wait.

I stayed out until about 1:30am, so not quite an all day effort, but not far off. I hope everyone had as good a day as I did.
